The Modelers Meeting ("Modeling the Iron and Steel Industry - An Introduction")
Chapter member Fred Monsimer presents: Railroads have had a long relationship with the Iron and Steel in-dustry. They haul the materials used to make Iron and Steel, they make their cars and locomotives of Iron and Steel. Modelers — Whether you have the room to build a fully - Integrated Steel mill, or just want to have one car load of I-beams passing through during an operating session, come and see this presentation. You don't need to build a model of a blast furnace or buy a lot of special equip-ment to introduce Steel to your layout. How far you take it is up to you.
The Feature Presentation ("Update on the Restoration of PRR K4 1361")
Railroaders Memorial Museum Executive Director, Joe DeFrancesco will review historical aspects of the K4 class, 1361’s history, recent updates with the restoration progress, and fundraising goals.
The chapter meeting will be available on zoom as well has held in person, at the Drexel Hill United Methodist Church.
