Chapter Meeting - March 7, 2026

Modelers Presentation ("Progress on My PRR Layout - Part II")
Chapter member Tim Garner, High Line and East Wind editor, TKM Art Director and author presented – Tim’s three-level HO layout is two layouts in one featuring Baltimore’s Penn Station circa 1955 on the top level, and the Ft. Wayne line in Ohio circa 1946-1953 on the bottom two levels.


He reported on the design and first five years of construction to the Philadelphia Chapter four years ago (see his 3/5/22 presentation on the chapter’s YouTube channel). A lot has happened in the four years since. As such, Tim spoke to his progress, methods, and lessons learned on Penn Station and environs, plus developments in Crestline and Massillon, Ohio.


Feature Presentation ("All Aboard Cape May, NJ on the Reading Seashore Lines to Chicago Union Station on the Pennsylvania Railroad)  Russell T. Sharp, former Pennsylvania Railroad Chainman and Drexel Institute of Technology student presented.  Russell displayed and discussed photos taken in the 1960s on the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines and the Pennsylvania Railroad. Includes locomotives, roundhouses, trains and many other things that you don’t see anymore.
